| PMRExpo 2009: Knürr presents solutions “à la carte” |

Once again this year at the 9th PMRExpo 24-26 November in Cologne Knürr AG presented its à la carte system solutions. For the second time Knürr invited representatives from authorities and organizations with security tasks, utility providers, the energy industry, public transport companies, industry and local authorities to its stand in hall 10.2 at the Cologne trade fair.
Knürr presented its electric height-adjustable console, the ErgoCon, among other highlights. This Console guarantees optimum work conditions in control stations and, in addition to plenty of space for technical components and cable integration, also provides a stepless lifting mechanism that allows the user to adjust their workstation to suit their individual needs. In contributing to a holistic security concept for digital communications Knürr also presented rack systems with accessories for indoors and outdoors at PMRExpo – ranging from control centers to monitoring stations. The Outdoor Cabinets meet all requirements of resistance class 4 and therefore guarantee the required security. The systems are especially impressive on the basis of their high level of vandalism protection, consequently pre-destining the enclosure technology for professional mobile communications in the police, fire and ambulance services area. Protection can be equipped and upgraded with both individual enclosures and with modular systems. Added to this is a thermal management system that cannot be seen from the outside, which provides thermal regulation of the components and a fire prevention system that meets the requirements of fire resistance class F30 in accordance with DIN 4102. The failure-safety of the security services communication system is therefore guaranteed, as all components can be safely and securely housed in the rack system. The Knürr experts went on to prove at the trade fair that, in addition to holistic control station solutions ranging from planning through to after sales service, they are also specialists in developing suitable security rack systems for the digital mobile communications industry.
As, along with classic trade exhibits, a symposium and control station congress was also provided, in addition to the presentation of innovative products, PMRExpo also offered the opportunity for exhibitors and users to exchange opinions, ideas and information. |
