An extensive equipment offering for Sun Rack II is now also available in the Knürr e Shop

As a leading manufacturer of system solutions in information and network technology and in the telecommunications sector, Knürr AG continues to expand its range of accessories for data centers, and will now also offer products manufactured by Sun Microsystems, Inc., a global player in the hardware, software and services for network computing area.
As an authorized Sun sales partner, together with Emerson Network Power and Liebert, Knürr sets innovative standards in the compatibility of top quality server racks. The newly developed 19” rack, the Sun Rack II with its versatile power supply variants, consequently provides high density with the provision of Sun servers, and not only offers a high level of flexibility and easy operation – it also provides optimized use of the IT infrastructure.
As part of the intensive cooperation between the two companies, sales of the Sun Rack II accessories range will also be strategically expanded. All components required for using the server rack, from installation material to consoles and cable management, through to 19” blanking panels, shelves or chassis rails, are now available for the customer via Knürr’s web shop.
Knürr developed the ARCOS 19” Rack Console together with Sun Microsystems back in 2008. The ARCOS with integrated SunRay technology and Sun Ray Server software enables safe access to standard server platforms, and therefore more efficient server management. Knürr consequently perfectly complements its offering of Sun Rack II accessory parts via its e-Shop with this innovative TFT console, and as a result, also illustrates how important the intensive and rewarding cooperation with Sun Microsystems is for the IT market.
