The junction box is used to consecutively
switch the swing handle of the HID series and
connect with the server. The junction box has
three ports – INPUT, MODULE and OUTPUT.
INPUT – The INPUT is connected with the output
of the previous junction box of the previous
handle of the strand. The INPUT port of the
first junction box is connected with the server.
These connections are set up with the CN2001
cable.
MODULE – The MODULE port is connected via
a CN2001 cable with the reader module of the
HID series.
OUTPUT – The OUTPUT port is connected with
the INPUT of the next junction box of the
strand. If the junction box is the last of the
strand, the termination pull-up resistor is attached
to the OUTPUT port (included in the
server supply schedule).
