The Beginnings

Founded by Hans Knürr.

Founding of Knürr Technical Furniture GmbH.

Knürr in
the Corporate Universe

2000-2016

Knürr becomes highly sought-after and is first acquired by the 3i Group. In 2006, Knürr becomes part of EMERSON before being integrated into the VERTIV Group in 2016.

Competence Center

2019

The CRI Competence Center is established, covering the areas of sales, project planning, design, and development. Knürr continues to operate under its established brand name.

VERTIV IPO

2020

The VERTIV Group, to which Knürr belongs, goes public on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).

Expansion
of Competence Center

2021

The CRI is expanded to include the dedicated business functions of production, warehouse, procurement, shipping, quality, HR, and finance.
