The Special-Purpose Association for Emergency Medical Services and Fire Department Alerts completed the construction of a new, modern integrated control center at its Fürstenfeldbruck location. The new control center infrastructure provides a high-performance, future-proof foundation for efficient 24/7 operations in a safety-critical public safety environment.

As part of the project, Knürr delivered a comprehensive control center solution that combines ergonomic dispatch workstations, exception-handling stations, redundant technical integration, and functional surrounding furniture. The Initial Situation and Challenge

With the construction of the new Märkischer Kreis control center, there was a need for a modern control center infrastructure that would meet the high standards for availability, security, ergonomics, and technical integration. The goal was to create a future-proof control center that would not only meet the current requirements of the BOS sector but also be able to respond flexibly to future technical developments.

Particular challenges arose from the detailed specifications of the public tender, the deployment in a safety-critical environment, and the requirements for reliable crisis operations.
