The customer and the result

The Ansbach Integrated Control Center coordinates firefighting, emergency medical services, and disaster response for the city of Ansbach as well as the districts of Ansbach and Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim. With the construction of the new control center and the expansion of its area of responsibility, a high-performance, future-proof infrastructure was created for 24/7 operations with high demands on ergonomics, technology integration, and operational safety.

As part of the project, Knürr implemented a comprehensive control center solution that combines modern control center workstations, comprehensive technology integration, and custom-designed furniture. The result is an ergonomically optimized and highly integrated control center environment that sustainably improves efficiency, clarity, and future-proofing in daily operations.

The initial situation and challenge

With the construction of the new Ansbach Integrated Control Center, a new control center infrastructure was needed to accommodate the expanded scope of operations and meet the growing demands of modern 24/7 operations.

Particular challenges arose in coordinating a wide variety of trades as well as in the comprehensive integration of control center technology into the workstations and the existing building infrastructure. Additionally, the project required customized solutions for workstation design and office furnishings.
